BOOKINGS You may book on "Pay : On Arrival" but we would require a minimum £15 deposit, which is non-refundable, to secure your booking. This should be sent within 1 week of booking by cheque or Postal Order. The balance of your stay is payable on arrival.
CANCELLATION In the event of cancellation, the hirer
must advise the owner immediately whereupon every reasonable attempt will
be made by the owner to re-let the premises. If re-letting is possible,
the deposit, less the costs incurred in re-letting, will be refunded. The
owner reserves the right to charge the full balance of the hire charges if
re-letting is not possible.
PERSON BOOKING MUST BE OVER 21 OR OVER; There is to be a RESPONSIBLE ADULT on site or in-charge of the groups
actions, especially responsible for preventing damage to the facility.
We operate a NO SMOKING policy within the building,
although there is a designated smoking area available.
Uist Bunkhouse is not a youth hostel. We want you to
come and go as you please so we avoid curfew rules as far as practical.
However, it is a communal living and it is not possible to have one group
carousing 'til the small hours and another trying to get to sleep at 10pm. Please bear in mind that there may be families and
workers in the building so respect for other residents is asked for. For the late incomers a code will be given for the front door.
The Tariff includes all bedding, fitted sheets/duvets
etc. Electric, Hot Water are also included.
It is a condition of the contract that no responsibility is
accepted by the owners for any accident or mishap to persons or property
whilst on the premises or whilst engaged in any activity therefrom, or from
any illness or injury arising from any cause whatsoever.
Visitors are advised to ensure that they have adequate
insurance cover. Any damage to the property or fittings will be chargeable.
Please leave your room/toilet and communal areas as you find them,
please dispose of all rubbish as you would do in your own home.
